Main Characters

Renton Thurston

Outgoing, awkward, and idealistic, Renton personifies the image of an ordinary teenager. He enjoys reffing, but is handy when it comes to repairing things--a trait he picked up from his mechanic grandfather. While he's usually clueless about the Gekkostate affairs, he tries to help out as well as he can -- especially if he thinks it'll impress Eureka.

Eureka

The pilot of the Nirvash and, before Renton came into the picture, the only one capable of doing so. Eureka is soft-spoken and emotionless, consequently coming off as cold at times. She doesn't understand emotions or social standards very well, causing her to occasionally act peculiarly. She can communicate with the Nirvash, as well as possessing a bond with all machines.

Holland

As a prodigy reffer and leader of the Gekkostate, Holland is the idol of teenage boys everywhere. In reality, he's a bit lazy, anti-social, and more than slightly bad-tempered. Events in his past have left him badly scarred emotionally with a tendency to avoid issues he doesn't like. Underneath it all, though, is a man who would be willing to do anything to protect the world, almost to a suicidal level.

Talho Yuki

Smart, beautiful, and capable, Talho serves as both the cover girl of ray=out, the Gekkostate magazine, and as the main pilot of the ship. However, she's also teasing to a bully-like point, and she tends to have fits of immaturity when things don't go her way. Problems with her and Holland's relationship have also left her with attention and jealousy issues.

Anemone
With her moody and abrasive behaviour, Anemone is generally a chore to deal with for those around her. The only person she listens to is Dewey, whom she's eager to serve, as the pilot of theEND. In battle, she's ruthless and sadistic, but past her rather psychotic attitude lies a tragic secret and a suffering, broken girl.

Dominic Sorel

Dewey's right-hand man and Anemone's caretaker, though he lacks the cruelty they possess. Serious, naive, and devoted, all Dominic wishes for is simply what's best for Anemone, whom he loves, and the safety of the world. However, being Dewey's subordinate, he obviously is on the wrong track to accomplish that.

Dewey Novak

The main antagonist of the series, Dewey is collected, callous, and very talented at manipulating people--particularly the public. Unafraid to act, he's careful to manipulate the views of the people to his advantange by feeding them lies. Due to events from the past, he bears a strong hatred for the Scab Coral, and is determined to destroy it for the 'good' of humanity.
