This is the F.A.Q. This is the part of my website were frequently asked questions are answered.

Question 1. Can kings check other kings?
Answer 1. NO. King may only check other kings with the help of other peices because to check a other king a king must put itself in check which is illigle

Question 2. What sqaures do the king and queen start on?
Answer 2. The queen starts on the third sqaure from the left on the board. The king starts to the right of the queen(5 sqaures from the right).

Question 3. What is a stale mate?
Answer 3.A stale mate is when a king moves in to a place were he is safe but can not move in to a slot were he will not be captured.as long as he is safe in the sqaure that he is in and no other peices can move it is a stale mate(as long as if he moves he will be in danger)

Question 4. What is castling?
Answer 4. Castling is when a king has a clear path to a rook when neither the rook the king has moved. If there is a clear path between the roof and the king(on either side)the king can move move two sqaures to the right and move the rook to the opposite side of the king.

Question 5.Do I win if my opponent acidentally knocks over his king?
Answer 5.You do not win the game if your opponent accidentally knocks over his king. You only win the game if your opponent purposley knocks over his king and submits.
