Test Of Character Contest
The Test of Character Contest is an annual design event for Canadian youth. The contest involves design of an original character for the print or digital media.
2010's grand finale, held at the South Common Community Centre was hugely successful where Amy Chang (Cawthra Park Secondary School) & Jarron Evasco (Artesian Drive Public School) were the winners in their respective categories. Eleven other contestants were recognized for their originality, vision and craft. Judith Christine Mills, who was the guest of honour, gave a stirring presentation showcasing the metamorphosis of Mr. Goodfellow, a character from the acclaimed Goodfellow Chronicles. The jury included an eminent panel of practicing graphic artists, illustrators, animators and game designers.
For this year the contest deadline is February 19, 2013
