Game Design (3D FPS)
In this camp you develop 3D First Person Shooter game with a professional look and feel using Unreal, one of the most commercially successful gaming platforms. You develop your own strategies, characters and quests; improve your problem solving and team collaboration skills.
In this camp you will be introduced to 3D game design and development in an easy to understand, step by step, fun to learn method. You will use pre-fabricated 3D characters, architectural visualizations and environments (models, dungeons and buildings) that you can share with other team members. You will apply principles of visual scripting to alter game play conditions and event triggers. You will design 3D levels with custom geometry, employing a variety of textures, meshes and dynamic lighting. You will apply the principles of game physics, math and logic to your own game in the light of 3D architecture and character treatment.
Following the work flow of professional studios, you will work on your individual project on your own and sometimes in teams. At the end of the camp you carry copies of your work home. Your game is showcased for trial at the Design Expo in fall.
